Both meanings hold profound significance for us and our wine. Harvest commences under the veil of night and concludes with the tender embrace of dawn. Though our journey in this endeavor is still in its infancy, we have unearthed profound truths about ourselves that transcend the realm of wine:  Never judge someone solely by their name. *Harvest is a version of crossfit.  You will sweat.*They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Keep your cherished secrets close.* We only manage to capture flattering selfies when food is involved.* Grapes weigh alot, particularly when clustered into cases of wine. Whether assembling a pallet (comprising 56 cases) or loading our car (accommodating 58 cases), the weight of our ambition is palpable. It feels like there are more boxes than grapes in creating a wine business.*Our winery schedule tends to be overly ambitious, leaving us to choose between a quick shower or a sit-down meal, but rarely both.*No matter what, carve out time to sink your toes into the sand.*There's never an ideal time to traverse through LA, so plan accordingly.*Make sure you have a solid relationship.  Unknown packaging in your vehicle can lead to lots of questions.* Consult the chefs for their favorite menu items, then indulge in their recommendations and try something new.*There’s no one better suited to narrate your story than yourself!
